On Grief
I realize that even though it’s been almost two months since the day of Casey’s passing, my emotional wounds are still fresh. It doesn’t help that he appears in every dream that I’ve had/remembered since that god-awful day. I am always happy to see him. But I am also always devastated to leave him and wake up, knowing that he is no longer there.
